Return of the Mack

After announcing his retirement from ITN back in February this year, Botafogo has managed to pull the ex Boca Juniors and Bochum manager out of retirement.

Botafogo have been free falling in many years and a once healthy and highly competitive football club, now resides in the C leagues. The chairman has expressed his desire to make Botafogo great again and in order to do so they needed a manager with experience. So when the chance to bring Luke Morrison out of retirement became an option they jumped at the chance.

Luke Morrison had this to say “ its great to be back, I only came back to help my long term friend and chairman of the club but after meeting the players and staff I just knew that this club was special and I had to sign a long term contract”

With the club still in the hunt for 2 trophy’s this season, it’s clear that Luke Morrison arrived at just the right time. They have made some good signings for the future and have also managed to sign some older more experience players to help progress the club over the next couple of seasons.

The future is bright for Botafogo and we wish everyone involved at the club much success.
