The only problem I see with players who you want to keep but they dont want to renew their contract is that there are not enough current managers who actually want to buy so the chance of them leaving as a free agent becomes high. morale accounts for about 15% of the player's decision making about a contract renewal, so it's important to have it high but it's not enough on its own.

Hidden attributes have always been in the game. In the past they had no limits, so visible attributes didn't tell the whole story about a player.
Many users requested to remove them in the past, so they've been tuned down limiting their effects. Now they still exist but their effects are limited and the level of attributes combined with traits show more accurately a player real ability.
Do you think they are tuned correctly now?
Should they go back having more relevance as in the past, so managers have to research and find out the best players more? Or should they be removed completely?

Contract renewals. What’s the best solution in your opinion?

Keep it as it is: players don’t sign a new contract if they don’tplay enough for their needs

Bring back journeyman: a player who seem to travel from club to cluband never really stays in one club for many seasons

A merge of the two: players don’t sign a new contract if they don’tplay enough for their needs but that can go to a refusal also for astrong player in the lower divisions or for a player that has been inthe same club for a long time and want a fresh start
